How We Made the Modern World

Educator Katie Rymon from the National Museum of Industrial History will show us how we can engage students in learning about the Industrial Revolution. Join us to explore questions like: How did the Industrial Revolution shape the modern world? Are we still in an Industrial Revolution? What are the impacts of our choices, individually and collectively? Leave with a middle or high school lesson guide to bring the topic of industrialization to life for your students.

Questions? Email us at events@oerproject.com.

About the facilitator: Katie Rymon is the Manager of Education and Public Programming at the National Museum of Industrial History. As a leader, Katie engages members of the public, including students and educators, in learning about our shared history from the national to the community level.
