Feedback That Fuels Critical Thinking

It's March, and there’s still a lot of thinking you want students to do before the year wraps up. In this workshop, you'll dig into OER Project’s feedback forms for historical thinking skills and learn practical ways to use them alongside classroom activities. You’ll see the full collection, then take a closer look at one historical thinking skill and practice giving feedback that helps students understand where they are and what to work on next. Gather teaching tips for making feedback focused, manageable, and useful. Leave with use-tomorrow resources to help students keep growing as critical thinkers.

About the facilitator: Angelina Meadows Comb serves as director of OER Project, where she leads the development of innovative K–12 social studies curricula and educator resources. Her leadership advances collaboration and empowers educators to strengthen teaching and learning nationwide.
