LMS Integration

Common Cartridge

If you’re interested in using a common cartridge to access OER Project materials, open our Common Cartridge Guide and follow the steps to download the cartridge for the course/s you teach.

Canvas

There are a few different ways to use OER Project in your Canvas instance:

  • Common Cartridge: Download the Common Cartridge and import it into your Canvas instance.
  • iframe embed: From the lesson or material page you’d like to embed:
    1. Click the Share Options button.
    2. Select Embed This Material, then select your LMS.
    3. Click Copy and paste the iframe link in the LMS’ editor.
  • Canvas Commons: You can also directly pull in OER Project materials to your Canvas course from the Canvas Commons learning repository. See the Canvas – Instructure Community for more information.

Schoology

Follow the steps above to download the Common Cartridge and import OER Project materials to Schoology. See the Schoology product support page for more help.

Blackboard

Follow the steps above to download the Common Cartridge and import OER Project materials to Blackboard. For help with embedding instructional materials with Blackboard, visit the Blackboard Help Center.

Google Classroom

You can directly embed OER Project materials into Google Classroom using the Google Classroom integration button. Click Share This Material, then select Google Classroom from the list. Click the Google Classroom button in the lower right-hand corner to import the material to your Google Classroom.

Embed OER Project into Your LMS

All OER Project lessons and course materials can be embedded into your LMS directly from the OER Project website. From the lesson or material page you’d like to embed:

  1. Click the Share Options button.
  2. Select Embed This Material, and then select your LMS.
  3. Click Copy and paste the iframe link in the LMS’ editor.

Clever Single Sign-On

We support single sign on through Clever. We do not offer a classroom integration to Clever, as there is no student login feature for OER Project.
