Credit: “Geography: Industrialization Mystery”, OER Project, https://www.oerproject.com/PurposeUnderstanding the relationship between geography and industrialization will help you uncover the origins of the Industrial Revolution. Key informationSpatial analysis refers to the process geographers use to analyze geographic patterns by studying the locations, characteristics, and relationships between places.Distribution refers to whether elements are clustered (close together) or dispersed (far apart).Patterns refers to whether elements are linear (in a line), in a grid, or if they pop up in random places on the map.Relationships refer to whether features occur near one another. Process 1.Use the information in the two maps (on pages 5 and 6 or view on the site) to conduct a spatial analysis and predict which mystery location industrialized first. Each map has the same features: navigable rivers, canals, cities, and coal deposits. As you analyze each map, think about the geographic advantages and disadvantages of both locations and complete the table below. Include the following information in your notes: distribution, patterns, and relationships.
