What’s something in today’s world that frustrates you? What would you fight to change? Maybe it’s the cost of college, climate change, or unfair school rules. Today, you’ll outline your ownmanifesto—a passionate statement about something you want to change.Your manifesto should be a paragraph (three to fivesentences) and include the following:•The cause: If you were to start a modern-day revolution, what injustice or event would provoke you?•The problem: What is wrong with the current system?•Your demands: What changes should be made and why?•Your call toaction: How would you convince people to join your movement?2.If you can, pair up and share your manifesto with a partner or a small group. If time allows, consider what your movement’s slogan might be!
