OUR INTERCONNECTED WORLD: WORLD WAR I–REGION CARDS1Teacher notes: Cut out the region cards on the following pages. As students come into the classroom, give each a region card with their assigned nations on them. Note that we have created 30 region cards. If you have a smaller class, you can give multiple region cards tosome students in the same geographic area. If you have a larger class, you can pair students up and give each pair a region card. Be sure that students sit in their assigned region. Students will write down their assigned regions and you may also want to tell them to memorize their assigned region so they know where to take the yarn when their country is called out in the narrative.
