Credit: “Draw the Frames”, OER Project, www.oerproject.com/PurposeIn the beginning of this lesson, you examined images that represented the frames. Now, show your understanding of the three frames by creating your own images. Process1.On a blank piece of paper, create a drawing following these steps: •Draw a community: It can be your own community or a community you learned about in another social studies course. The picture doesn’t have to perfect—stick figures are fine! Make sure the picture includes:oPeopleoAt least one place where people liveoAt least one place where people workoAt least one place where people spend leisure time•Add in what the community produces and distributes: Think about the kind of things the community makes or grows, and how they share and use these items. •Draw in networksusing lines and arrows to draw the connections: How are people in the community connected? How is the community connected to other communities?
