WWII's Legacy: How the War Transformed the World

How did World War II change the world—and how can we help students understand its impact today? Join experts from the National WWII Museum to explore the American experience of the war. Museum educators will delve into the global causes and consequences of WWII, share stories from the front lines and home front, and offer resources to bring this complex history to life in the classroom. Teachers will grapple with the war’s political, social, and cultural legacies so they can engage students in critical thinking about the subject.

Questions? Email us at events@oerproject.com.

About the facilitators: National WWII Museum educators Sarah Wehlage, LaToya Williams, and Maddie Roach provide us with their expertise in virtual learning, professional development, curriculum design, and multimedia storytelling.
